Meghan Nunn – Group Facilitator
Megan is a dedicated Group Facilitator with a strong background in behavioral health and substance use recovery. She leads therapeutic and psychoeducational groups that focus on building coping skills, fostering emotional growth, and supporting individuals in their recovery journeys. Megan is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental
environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working toward meaningful change. Drawing on evidence-based practices and a compassionate, client-centered approach, she empowers participants to develop healthier behaviors, strengthen resilience, and build the tools needed for long-term recovery.
Will Gavigan – Program Director
With over a decade of experience in behavioral health, recovery support, and community services, I currently serve as Program Director at Massachusetts Mental Health Treatment Centers in Pembroke, Massachusetts.
There, I oversee patient safety, staff management, and
client intake operations while maintaining compliance.
Jennifer Rodrigues – Primary Therapist
Jennifer is a therapist with a Master’s degree in Psychology who is passionate about helping
individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. She uses an integrative, evidence-based approach, incorporating techniques from
CBT and DBT to support clients in developing insight, coping skills, and healthier patterns.
Jennifer strives to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring their experiences and working toward personal growth. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and helping clients better understand themselves and their emotions.
Jennifer is committed to supporting clients as they build resilience and make meaningful changes in their lives.
Sarah Banis – Clinical Lead
Sarah Banis earned her education at Lesley University, where she studied Counseling Psychology. She is passionate about the field of mental health and dedicated to helping individuals navigate difficult life experiences and recover from addiction. Sarah is committed to supporting clients as they build insight, develop coping skills, and work toward lasting recovery and emotional well-being.
She finds the greatest fulfillment in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, and she integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when working with trauma. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and practical skill-building to help clients create meaningful and sustainable change.
Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys spending time walking her dogs and reading.
Katelyn Stapleton – Primary Therapist
Katelyn holds her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University. Before becoming a therapist, she was a teacher and has worked in many settings in both the education and mental health fields. She grew up in Connecticut and has since lived in several states and also abroad. She loves anything art or creativity related, both in her clinical work as well as her personal hobbies. She aims to tailor her work with clients to their particular needs and interests using a variety of therapeutic modalities and enjoys accompanying clients on their journey of healing, recovery, and self-exploration.
Emily Bruno – Case Manager
Emily is a compassionate Case Manager in a PHP/IOP program who supports individuals navigating mental health and substance use recovery. She works closely with clients to coordinate care, connect them with community resources, and ensure they have the tools and support needed throughout treatment. Emily is dedicated to building trusting relationships and advocating for each client’s unique needs while collaborating with clinical teams to promote stability, growth, and long-term recovery. Her supportive and organized approach helps clients stay engaged in treatment and move toward meaningful life changes.
Matthew Miller – Group Facilitator
Matt is currently a group facilitator at Massachusetts Mental Health Treatments. He studied for his undergraduate degree and is currently pursuing a master’s in clinical mental health counseling. Matt has previous experience working on clinical trials and research, in addition to
many years serving as a camp counselor. His areas of interest include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and addiction treatment. Matt takes a holistic approach to working with clients which incorporates techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered
therapy, and internal family systems. Outside of work Matt loves sports, spending time in nature, and taking care of his two orange cats.
Ely Mateo – Group Facilitator
Ely is a graduate intern currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW). Ely is passionate about mental health and enjoys researching topics in the field while staying up to date on emerging perspectives and approaches. She brings empathy, humor, and authenticity to group discussions, helping create a space where clients feel comfortable engaging, reflecting, and growing.
